Rama Wins Sita by Stringing Shiva's Bow Vishwamitra guided them through challenges including defeating Tataka using divine weapons bestowed upon him by gods after years of penance. Later at Mithila kingdom’s contest involving lifting Shiva’s bow for Princess Sita's hand in marriage; only Prince Ram succeeded.
