Protection of Individual Freedoms Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson praised Governor DeSantis' initiative in protecting individual freedoms by implementing constitutional carry in Florida. He also mentioned SB214, which blocks credit card companies from tracking merchant codes to monitor firearm sales, as an important win for consumer privacy and protection against creating a national gun registry.
